Hi, I'm Marie.
I'm so glad you're here! Outside of the therapy room, I love spending time in the mountains and hiking whenever I can. Nature is one of the ways I recharge. I share my home with wonderful husband, a French bulldog (Noodles) and an English bulldog (Daisy Quinn), who keep life entertaining and fun. I’m also a lifelong Georgia Bulldogs fan and live for football season!
What to expect in our first session
Your first session with me is a chance to get to know each other and see if I’m the right fit for you. I take a laid-back, conversational approach and aim to create a space that feels comfortable, supportive, and free of judgment. I’m a gentle listener, and I often use appropriate humor to help ease nerves and make the process feel more human and approachable.
There’s no pressure to have everything figured out or to know exactly what to say. We’ll go at your pace, talk about what’s bringing you in, and begin identifying what you’d like help with. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and a little more at ease than when you arrived.

My therapy approach
I offer a laid-back, comfortable, and safe space where clients can openly explore their current struggles. My approach is warm, supportive, and non-judgmental, allowing clients to move at their own pace while gaining insight, building coping skills, and working toward meaningful change.
Clients I love to work with
I’m especially passionate about supporting people navigating grief, anxiety, major life changes, and chronic illness. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just trying to find your way through something hard, I’m here to help. I work best with clients who are ready to explore their emotions in a safe, relaxed space—whether you’re processing a loss, adjusting to a new chapter, or learning how to live well with ongoing challenges.
